Can anyone verify if this is true or not?I have a later transmission and the bell-housings i have don't fit in the front bearing area. As already indicated you need a gearbox and clutch and starter motor from a 3TC, or ones which are actually compatible! Aug 4, 2013 · Hello I have a 1981 corolla with a 3TC all stock, my question is what will cause the carburetor to run too rich the engine? at start up I can smell raw fuel and see the smoke out the exhaust pipe and after it reaches operating temp it stops smoking. engine compression is good in all cylinders. What clutch parts do you use with this? You use the big fly wheel and pressure plate for 3t, w58 clutch to match. If I have an electronic distributor that will bolt in, will I have to change anything else out? -Have 1976 TE31, new distributor is from 3tc 1983. Thanks Tavirace Jul 3, 2017 · I have a 1981 3TC that I want to make EFI because my current carb has been rebuilt (half came from a 3tc carb and lower half is from a 4AC carb), it runs great when cold but gets rough when warm, gets rougher when AC is turned on. I'm selling my complete 3tc turbo setup, this includes a precision 6265 with a . ( less than 500 miles on turbo) custom built PSI RACING manifold that has been ceramic coated along with down pipe and a tial 38mm wastegate with dump pipe, this came off my 82 corolla .
